OneAmerica Financial® extends support to Indiana Repertory Theatre through 2031-2032 season
5-year extension underscores a shared commitment to strengthening Indianapolis through arts, culture and community investment.
INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 8, 2026)
OneAmerica Financial® today announced a five-year extension of its longstanding sponsorship of the Indiana Repertory Theatre (IRT). Continuing through the IRT’s 2031-32 season, the sponsorship will mark 37 consecutive years of collaboration between the two organizations, both deeply rooted in Indiana.
The renewed commitment supports the IRT’s ongoing artistic programming and long-term sustainability while reinforcing the important role arts and culture play in creating vibrant, connected communities. As Indianapolis' premier professional regional theater, the IRT serves thousands of audience members, students and educators each year, helping to enrich the cultural fabric of the city and state.
In 2027, the companies of OneAmerica Financial will celebrate a 150-year heritage rooted in the organizations, people and values that helped shape it. The approaching milestone reflects the company's enduring commitment to Indianapolis and its belief that strong communities are built through investments that create lasting impact. By continuing its support of the IRT, OneAmerica Financial is reinforcing a legacy of partnership that helps ensure arts organizations remain accessible, sustainable and positioned to inspire future generations.
"The arts and business are both essential contributors to a thriving community, and our longstanding partnership with OneAmerica Financial is a powerful example of that connection," said Artistic Director Benjamin Hanna. "When corporate leaders champion the arts, they help drive economic vitality, support workforce development and ensure that communities remain dynamic places to live, work and create."
"For more than three decades, our partnership with the Indiana Repertory Theatre has reflected a shared belief that strong communities are built through meaningful investments in culture, education and connection,” said Scott Davison, OneAmerica Financial chairman, president and CEO. “The arts enrich lives, inspire new ideas and help create vibrant communities where people want to live, work and thrive."
"As the companies of OneAmerica Financial commemorate a150-year legacy in 2027, this sponsorship extension will be both a celebration of our history and a commitment to our future,” Davison added. “Extending this partnership through the 2031-32 season underscores our confidence in the theater's impact and our dedication to ensuring Indianapolis remains a dynamic and welcoming place for generations to come."
The IRT’s 54th season (with productions scheduled Sept. 23, 2026, through May 9, 2027), will bring heart-pounding mystery, feel-good family comedy, treasured traditions, golden-era classics and more in the six-play production lineup.
The 2026-27 season will open with “The Da Vinci Code,” based on the international bestselling thriller by Dan Brown. In October, the play that inspired the beloved Netflix show “Kim’s Convenience” opens, followed by the annual holiday tradition, Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” In January, Branden Jacob-Jenkins’ Pulitzer Prize– and Tony Award–winning “Purpose” takes the stage. February will feature “Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women” by America’s most-produced living playwright, Lauren Gunderson. And the season closes out with the enduring Broadway favorite musical “Guys and Dolls.”
