Trailblazer Series
The Trailblazer Series, sponsored by OneAmerica Financial, is a free career exploration program that helps high school and college-age students learn about future career opportunities. Through monthly sessions, participants connect with professionals in fields such as technology, cybersecurity, finance, marketing, legal, sales, operations, and project management, gaining insight into real career journeys. The program encourages career exploration, mentorship, networking, and informed decision-making, empowering students to shape their future paths with clarity and confidence.
Being part of the Trailblazer Series was a great opportunity to connect with professionals, learn from their experiences, and gain a better understanding of what it takes to succeed both personally and professionally. I think programs like Trailblazer Series have a meaningful impact on the Indianapolis community because they bring students and professionals together and create opportunities for mentorship, networking, and growth. Experiences like this help students build confidence and connections that can make a lasting difference as they begin their careers.

Scholars Program
A paid, part-time opportunity for high school graduates that offers one-on-one mentoring and skills training for career success.
If you know a student who would excel with a mentor’s guidance and feedback, consider nominating them for the Scholars Program.
The Pathways program offers a lot of flexibility when it comes to school. The opportunities are big. The advantages are invaluable. If you show you have a strong work ethic and are determined, the possibilities are endless.

OneAmerica Financial mentors
Pathways Program students are each paired with a OneAmerica Financial employee who serves as a mentor. Mentors engage with students in personal and professional development, meeting weekly to provide students with support, guidance and focused feedback.
