Access to Added Value with EAP & Travel Assistance

A business that offers two or more lines of coverage from American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL), a OneAmerica company, has the opportunity to add on an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and travel assistance. These additional services may come at no cost or a reduced cost depending on your company’s selections.

  • Full family coverage — Eligibility extends to the whole family
  • Reassurance for traveling employees — Support salespeople and other workers who frequently travel more than 100 miles from home
  • Comfort for struggling workers — Provide a resource to your employees and potentially increase productivity and retention when you offer a way for workers to get help with life stresses

An Ounce of Prevention ...

Your company can address organizational and productivity issues in a caring and compassionate way with EAP services. You can also provide protection and resources for business trips and vacations with travel assistance. These benefits extend to the policyholder’s entire family to help your employees stay healthy, happy and safe. Consider EAP and travel assistance if you would like to:

  • Increase productivity — Studies show that employees who struggle with personal problems are absent more frequently and are less productive
  • Attract and retain employees — Helping employees find childcare and eldercare may increase their chances of staying employed
  • Enhance organizational health — Get web-based supervisory training, drug-free workplace programs as well as expert consultations for managing employees with performance, attendance or conduct problems
  • Prevent disability and medical claims — Research shows that getting help for emotional issues can also reduce health-related problems.
  • Encourage work-life balance — Enriching the quality of an employee’s life may improve his or her health, attitude and productivity at work. EAP helps with pet care referrals, adoption services, academic services and more.
  • Support employees who travel abroad — From pre-trip assistance with a Visa, Passport, immunizations and more to emergency evacuation and medically necessary repatriation
  • Augment health insurance for traveling employees — Provide covered travelers with medical and financial assistance, including GGA’s domestic and international network and health condition monitoring
