OneAmerica's 500 Festival support honors veterans, helps nonprofit groups

OneAmerica's commitment to the 500 Festival, a community-led nonprofit organization that aims to enrich lives, foster positive community impact and celebrate the Indianapolis 500, has more than 50 years of history.

OneAmerica has been a longtime supporter of the 500 Festival. The festival produces nearly 50 annual events and programs, which generate an economic impact of nearly $20 million.

"OneAmerica has been genuine in its support, service and pride. They take care of customers, the community and their employees — by making an investment in something they truly enjoy. It’s a grateful circle."

Bob Bryant, President and CEO, 500 Festival

In 2015, for the 11th consecutive year, OneAmerica was the title sponsor of the OneAmerica Mini-Marathon, the largest half marathon in the United States. More than 600 OneAmerica employees volunteered or took part in “the Mini.”

OneAmerica has been a lead sponsor in the 500 Festival Memorial Service and other festivities for more than five decades. To honor veterans who have served our country, a team of three dozen OneAmerica employees and family members carry a 30-by-60-foot American flag throughout the parade route on the eve of the famous 500-mile race.
