Moody’s Investors Service Affirms AUL’s Rating, Upgrades Outlook

Rating agency Moody's Investor Service has affirmed the financial strength rating of A2 for OneAmerica® company, American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL) and upgraded the rating outlook from stable to positive.
Moody's ratings are in addition to AUL's already strong financial ratings by A.M. Best and Standard and Poor's. Moody's cited AUL's increasing profitability driven by careful expense management and other factors. Moody's said it expects this profitability to continue for the foreseeable future. “Financial strength is the foundation of our commitment to deliver on our promises to customers,” said Scott Davison, OneAmerica's chief financial officer. “These strong ratings validate that we're managing policyholders' money responsibly and delivering exceptional value.”
