Michael McLaughlin named to OneAmerica board of directors

Indianapolis (June 5, 2012) – The board of directors for OneAmerica Financial Partners Inc. has elected S. Michael McLaughlin as its newest member. McLaughlin is recently retired from Deloitte LLP, where he served as the firm’s global leader for actuarial and insurance solutions. His work included consulting with major financial services clients on pricing, reserving, capital management and mergers and acquisitions.

McLaughlin is also a past president of the Society of Actuaries where he formed the risk management section of the group and led the creation of the Chartered in Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA) credential. He grew up in Kingston, Jamaica, where he attended the University of the West Indies. He currently resides in Winnetka, Ill.
