Kevin Poe named regional marketing director for The State Life Insurance Company

Indianapolis (Jan. 19, 2008) – The State Life Insurance Company, a OneAmerica® company, has named Kevin Poe a regional marketing director, covering the states of Neb. And Kan., and portions of Mo., Ill. and Iowa.
A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, Poe recently served as a vice president and financial consultant for Commerce Brokerage Services, Inc. and an investment representative with Edward Jones.
As a regional marketing director for State Life, Poe will work with independent insurance producers, key accounts, banks and career agents to generate sales from the State Life portfolio by focusing on long-term care benefits in the form of asset-based Care Solutions products.
“As a regional marketing director for State Life, I intend to support producers with strong leadership and creative sales approaches to marketing State Life products to their clients,” Poe said. “Likewise, I hope to draw upon my previous brokering and financial experiences to uncover new opportunities for selling long-term care solutions.”
Poe will be charged with conducting sales training through group meetings, one-on-one producer discussions and call support. Additionally, he will organize public continuing education seminars.
