INDIANAPOLIS – (April 6, 2010) The Employee Benefits division of American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL), a OneAmerica® company, has announced a plan to increase its product portfolio by marketing group dental and vision insurance, issued and underwritten by Security Life Insurance Company of America (Security Life), beginning April 1, 2010. The growing selection of bundled ancillary benefit plan solutions provides employers with opportunities to offer a stronger benefit package from a single billing source with the addition of group dental and vision insurance coverage.
Security Life (Minnetonka, Minn.) has been an innovator in the dental and vision insurance business for more than 25 years. Group dental insurance features employee and dependent dental coverage, flexible plan designs with generous maximums, consolidated billing, and coverage for preventive, basic, major, and orthodontic care for adults and children. Group dental insurance policyholders will have access to the national dentist network DenteMax, with discounts ranging up to 40 percent for in-network dentists.
The group vision insurance product works with the EyeMed Access Network that includes LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Sears Optical, Target Optical and thousands of independent optometrists.
