Vice president of underwriting

As vice president of underwriting, Anne Pruyn oversees R.E. Moulton, Inc's underwriting operations. She has embraced new and emerging technologies to enhance underwriting service and response.

Pruyn began her insurance career 1983 as an underwriting assistant at R.E. Moulton. Over the years, she has held various positions within the underwriting department. Her experience involves all aspects of the underwriting function, including:

• risk analysis and pricing
• development of underwriting practices, procedures and manuals
• evaluation of benefit plans
• proposal preparation
• providing training and technical support to underwriters.

 She has worked extensively with insurance carriers, reinsurers and intermediaries in a variety of areas, including writing and filing of policies, preparing data for audits and evaluating historical underwriting information for reporting purposes.
